'Grand Sphere' (グランドスフィア Gurando Sufia) is another piece of engineering developed from the fortified cardboard technology in Danball Senki W.[1]
Background[]
Developed by Heiji Kirishima, it is a gigantic air-tight energy field that surrounds the target area by placing small spherical terminals called Optical Photon Generators (OPG) around the perimeter. The size of the sphere itself is half the size of an LBX model. The properties are that of a gigantic D-Egg, where it can absorb all physical impacts at a 100% rate.
Its purpose was used to imprison the Mizel Trouncer, and thereby nullifying the explosion caused by the Seto-50. For the final battle against Mizel, over 10,000 LBXs participated in this mission after Ban Yamano broadcasted his request for help live across the globe.[2]
