Hanako Sonoyama (園山 ハナコ Sonoyama Hanako) is one of Sena Arata's classmates and member of the Fourth Platoon introduced in Danball Senki Wars.

Appearance[]

Hanako has pink hair that comes around her neck, brown eyes and she has a normal height.

She wears the girls' Jenock uniform.

Personality[]

Hanako appears to be shy most of the time, so she doesn't interact much with her teammates in Jenock except with her own platoon. When she is fighting in the Second World, she can be fierce and is able to break over many LBX or work together with her platoon. She, like the others, is a good LBX player.

Plot[]

In Episode 1, Hanako first appeared in the classroom when their homeroom teacher; Reina Mito introduced Arata Sena and Hikaru Hoshihara.

In Episode 2, Hanako was eating her dinner when she got introduced by Yuno Kashima to Arata and Hikaru. She was later assigned with her Platoon to compete in the mission in War Time the next day.

In Episode 9, Nozomi Sasagawa talks with Rinko Namino and Hanako about the rumors about the LBX ghost after hearing that two boys went up to the LBX Hill.

In Episode 14, she was in the classroom when Mito introduced Yuuji Nishimura and Takao Ooyama.

Etymology[]

  • The name Hanako is written in katakana (ハナコ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (花子), it could mean "flower, blossom" (花) (hana) and "child" (子) (ko).
  • Hanako's surname Sonoyama means "garden, park, plantation" (園) (sono) and "mountain, hill" (山) (yama).
