The Riding Armor (ライディングアーマー Ridingu Āmā) is a new type of LBX support unit introduced in Danball Senki Wars used to exponentially boost an LBX's overall performance.
Background[]
The Riding Armor is created by Jenock 1st Platoon's mechanic, Sakuya Hosono. Sena Arata was the first to use the Riding Armor prototype, when Dot Phasor broke its weapon while they were facing Eldband.
In Wars Episode 10, Sakuya managed to complete the Riding Armor using the Lab suppresed from the last mission. Val Sparos deployed it and managed to destroy the Large Droid, thanks to the 1st Platoon and 4th Platoon's stalling.
In episode 14, Sakuya develops it again for Arata under Mito's instructions, with Dot Phasor using it to attempt to break down the wall on Angel Piece. However, Rossius' Grey Beast, Andrei Gregory debuts with its own Riding Armor. The two clash, but eventually Arata and Jenocks Riding Armor take the advantage, and win, knocking it straight into Angel Piece's waters.
In Episode 20, it was crushed by a Bandit Large Droid when Dot Phasor use it to save the Third Platoon from the Large Droid.
