Sakuya Hosono (細野 サクヤ) is the mechanic of the first platoon in Danball Senki Wars.
Plot[]
In episode 1, he first appeared in the classroom when their homeroom teacher; Reina Mito introduced Arata Sena and Hikaru Hoshihara. He closely looked at Arata when he was seated right in front of him. He also looked at Arata and Hikaru when they were being escorted by their homeroom teacher towards another place.
In episode 2, he was in the dining room and called Arata and Hikaru over to eat with him and Haruki. He got angry at Arata because he damaged his LBX in the last War Time. He took part in operation Escorting the Freight Train.
In episode 3, he helped Arata and Hikaru to convince Haruki to be the decoy for this times operation.
In episode 7, the teacher helps him engage in a conversation with the other Henock mechanics about creating a hybrid armor LBX using several different materials. When Rinko mentions the prefered method of making the LBX more lightweight and fluid, he points out the weakness against laser-type methods, to which his teacher agrees. As Jenock prepares for War Time, Sakuya supports Reina’s plan to invade Eldar City in order to acquire their lab for further improving the First Platoon’s arsenal. In the mission to Capture Eldar City, he commands the Craft Carrier firing at Eldband before it could attack his Platoon's LBX.
In episode 15, he agrees with Hikaru and Arata that something fishy is wrong with Third Platoon, on the basis they have to protect their whole platoon. Meanwhile, he's being drawing the designs for a surprise he can't show them until War Time.
In episode 21, Sakuya visits Arata in the infirmary alongside Hikaru and Haruki, listening to how Arata felt when he activated Overlord. He notes that their LBX are in need of serious repair as Jin enters the room.
